SKILL CNC Vertical Milling and Drilling Polishing Machine E-D is a vertical machining center that combines drilling, milling and edge profiling into one machine and is capable of carrying them out with speed and precision.
The machine combines vertical drilling and milling like a grinder, with a vertical arissing machine and can be used for any process on flat or shaped sheet glass. Its versatility allows it to carry out very different operations with speed and precision. The SKILL E-D can also be used for low-e glass, making it ideal for architectural applications like curtain wall and windows.
This vertical drilling milling machine grinds, polishes, mills and drills with an opposed dual head. It is designed for flat or shaped sheet glass 4-20 mm. thick and, depending on the version, can process sheet glass between 600 x 300 mm. and 6,000 x 3,300 mm.
The machine has an entrance and exit support and a central body. The entrance roller is composed of a series of motorized wheels that transport the glass to the sheet-glass scanner and another series of wheels that provide support while the belts move the glass. Depending on the process, the glass is processed from both heads simultaneously, producing a finished product in a single step.
